BioStar Air is Suprema’s cloud-native access control platform designed to eliminate local servers, reduce IT complexity, and provide seamless biometric and mobile access across multiple sites. It connects smart readers directly to the cloud, with no controller needed. 

Most ACaaS solutions still rely on door controllers and local hardware. BioStar Air is fully cloud-native: access decisions happen on the reader itself, while user data is federated across the cloud and edge. This means faster deployment, real-time sync, and no manual setup per site.

• Apple Wallet (coming soon) 
• App-less QR codes and Link Passes 
• RFID cards (various formats) 
• PIN codes 

You can even mix credentials for a single user depending on the scenario. 

Suprema offers the most comprehensive range of industry leading biometric readers, which offers native support for facial recognition (and fingerprint soon), including remote onboarding and one-shot face enrolment via reader for BioStar Air.
